Training New Leaders

The future is BRIGHT for the High School Ministry of Cru!

Last week Dawn put on our New Leader’s Conference here in Orlando. Once a new staff or intern completes the support raising process, his/her CORE Training experience begins. This training program takes about 2.5 years for our full time people, and equips their hearts and their minds with what they need for the day-to-day of reaching teenagers on campus. Our New Leaders Conference is the kick-off to this training program, and it is a PACKED week of teaching, training, vision casting, and getting out on campuses doing ministry.

In 3 short days, we launched 2 new high school campuses and gave lift to a 3rd. These new leaders shared their testimonies and the gospel with 100s of students.  Out of the 111 that actually filled out comment cards – 51 indicated decisions to follow Christ for the first time! Over 50 new believers in 3 days! The local team will be following up these new believers, and prayerfully these movements will only grow. Praise God!

Please pray for these new believers as they take their first steps as infants in the faith, and pray for our new leaders as they head back to their cities to reach more students all over the country. Thank you for helping us be here to invest in the lives of this next generation of leaders.

Our team completed the Russian translation of Thrive Studies this month and now it is in the app and ready to be used! Our Russian staff are very excited to have content that is relevant to their students and that will allow students to more easily lead other students in biblical discussions. Thank you for the impact you are making on teenagers from around the world through your support of our ministry. Pray with us that the truths of these lessons will sink deep into their hearts and help to raise up a generation of Russian believers who are passionate about Jesus! Also please pray for the Mandarin translation that our team started working on this Fall!
