Do people really respond to evangelism?

Howdy from Orlando!

Have you ever wondered, “Do people really respond to the evangelism?”. Sometimes it can be hard to start a spiritual conversation with someone because you are plagued with doubts that they would want to talk about God or would ever become a Christian. The circles below show Cru’s evangelism numbers for the past year. According to what we are seeing, about 1 out of 3 times we start spiritual conversations, that person is willing to talk further and hear a presentation of the gospel. And 1 out of 3 times we share the gospel, someone will accept Christ into their lives. That means…

  1. You will most likely be rejected if you try to share the gospel
  2. As you continue to push through the rejection, people will agree to talk, and agree to listen
  3. When loving Christians push through the rejection, people enter into a relationship with their creator.

Please continue to pray for us as we lead this ministry toward more spiritual conversations, and join us to have some conversations of your own!

Below is a great example of the circles above. It’s a post from Hannah Young (one of the new staff that has been in training with Dawn) who took a trip to Puerto Rico to share Christ with teenagers there. This is one of many such trips we took this Spring. Praise God for the work He’s doing!
