Our first week on the job was a baptism by fire. We spent the first week of August in all day meetings with our national team and about 20 of our field staff. The goal was to address many of the challenges in our ministry that are causing some of our staff to feel stretched too thin and worn out. We brought in a leadership consultant who walked us through a process to get us talking about the problems and coming up with solutions. It was an incredibly successful week where we had some very real conversation, confession and forgiveness, and a lot of prayer. Now it’s time to roll up our sleeves and start working on the solutions we came up with. I summarized each day for the rest of our staff in some videos that you can find below if you’re interested.
